The MCA230LC's maximum 1.7MB per second data transfer rate is the highest speed for a drive of its class. This exceptional rate is reached through an accelerated rotational speed of 4200 RPM and an industry leading average seek time of 27ms.

Compact Design
The MCA230LC is hardly noticeable on the desktop and small enough to fit into a brief case. Yet, it rretains all the featurs of a fine enclosure - dual SCSI connectors rotary SCSI ID switch and switchable active termination.

The MCA230LC uses unique thermomagnetics of magneto-optical recording to ensure the integrity of your valuable data far into the future. Unlike magnetic media like floppy disks, tape, ZIP and SyQuest; information cannot be accidentally corrupted or erased by magnetic fields. It offers the most rugged format for storing data.

Standardized Media
Because magneto-optical media is manufactured by a variey of major media suppliers in accordance with international standards, availability and compatibility will never be a concern.

Backward Compatible
The drive supports both 230MB and 128MB disk, making it comptitble with the entire installed base of 3.5" drives and media, as well as futre MO products
